After Care

After School Care: Grades 5-8

To provide a structured program and safe environment for students after school, Holy Cross School has an aftercare program for students in grades 5-8. The program provides supervised time for homework and recreational activities and is mandatory for students who are on campus and not participating in Holy Cross supervised extracurricular activities. A teacher supervises the carpool line until 3:15 p.m. each day, at which time any students who have not been picked up will be escorted to the After-School Care Program in the Cafeteria. Another after-school option is for students to do homework or read/study quietly in the library, which is open most days until
3:45 p.m.

Daily schedule:

The rate for aftercare is $10 per day.
Students should report to the Cafeteria right after school.
Students have supervised homework/study time and snack for the first hour.
Optional continued study time/outside recreational activities until 5:30 p.m.
Pickups after 5:30 p.m. If a child is not picked up by 5:30 p.m., there will be an additional fee of $10 per 15-minute segment when the student is picked up.

Tuition:

Payments will be made through the student’s SMART Tuition account. Aftercare charges will be added to the student’s monthly tuition payment and will be auto-drafted at the same time. Families will receive a monthly invoice via email from SMART Tuition with a breakdown of the charges. They can also login to their SMART Tuition account at any time to view charges.

Before and After School Care Program (Pre-K through 4th Grade)

In order to provide a safe environment and structured program for students, Holy Cross Primary campus offers before and aftercare programs. This provides supervised time for homework and recreational activities and is mandatory for any student dropped off before 7:30 AM or not picked up by 3:20 PM.

After Care
Annually: $1,600 - Payment due August 7, 2023
Semester: $900 per semester - 2 Payments due: August 14, 2023 and January 8, 2024
Daily: $12.00 per day

All students must be picked up from aftercare before 5:30 p.m. If a student is not picked up by 5:30 p.m., there is a charge of $1 per minute which must be paid in cash before the student returns to school the next day. After three times of being picked up late, the student will no longer be allowed to attend the after-school care program.

Before Care
Before school care will begin at 7:00 a.m. every morning. Students should be dropped off at the front entrance of the school and the cost will be $15 per week ($3.00 daily).

Please note, there will be no after school care on 11:00 dismissal days and there will be 2:30 dismissal on the first and third Wednesdays of the month.
