Heard It in the Hallways

On this segment of "Heard It in the Hallways", we wanted to find out what some of your New Year's resolutions were. A New Year's resolution is a goal at which an individual takes steps to change something important to them including an undesired attribute or conduct. Resolutions should aim to achieve an individual objective or generally enhance one’s life. We talked with students and a couple of teachers around Holy Cross to perceive what their New Year’s resolutions were and here is what they said:

“What is your New Year’s Resolution?”

Cory Ballas (2019): “My New Year Resolution is to be a better person.”

Zach Landry (2019): “My New Year Resolution is to get good grades this semester”

Thomas Dugal (2019): “My New Year Resolution is to win state in soccer.”

Nick Brocato (2021): “My New Year Resolution is to be more responsible and create better habits.”

Dominick Jessie (2021): “My Resolution is to improve my GPA and score high on the ACT.”

Tyler Grubbs (2020): “My Resolution is to make an impact on my school.”

Stafford Agee (2021): “My New Year resolution is to be a better version of myself and to stop letting people walk over me and take advantage of me.”

Arden Vidal (2025): “My Near Year Resolution is to do well in school.”

Coach Brodie (Social Studies Department): “For my money and investments to work for me, and to gain and become finically stable, and to buy a house.”

 

Coach Toepfer (Social Studies Department): “My New Year Resolution is to manage my money better.”

Easton Clark (2030): “To get better at baseball”

Noah Lavender (2029): “My goal is to help my mom clean and help take care of my little sister.”

Graham Willis (2029): “To get better at basketball”

Conner Gonzales (2032): “Watch the Saints and share my toys with my brother.”
