Tigers Win State Swimming Championship

The Holy Cross Swimming Tigers dominated the field of 22 teams at the Division II State Championships.
 
The Tigers started the meet winning the 200 Medley Relay (Coleman, Rivera, Caffery, Price). Coleman would go on to win and set Div II state records in the 50 free and 100 fly. Rivera captured two individual golds in the 200 IM and 100 breast. Caffery would go on to take 2nd in both the 100 fly and 100 back. Price took 3rd in both the 200 IM and 100 free.

Sophomore Carson Doll took 1st in the 500 free being the only swimmer to go sub 5:00(4:55) and took 2nd in the 200 free. Jonah Munch took 3rd in the 200 free and Casey Miller took 3rd in the 500 free.

The Tigers finished the night the same way they started it by dominating the 400 freestyle relay. Coleman, Price, Caffery, and Rivera was over five seconds ahead of second place.

The Swimming Tigers accumulated 423 points while second place Ruston scored 274.
