Holy Cross School Announces New Leadership Team

NEW ORLEANS— Holy Cross School has announced a new organizational structure and leadership team for the 2018-2019 school year. This new structure will allow the school to align its academic programs and student services to assure continuity and progression throughout each young man’s journey at Holy Cross School.

Mr. Eric DesOrmeaux will serve as Chief School Officer and will oversee all academic areas, including primary, middle and high school grades. In this role, he will direct the school’s curriculum, discipline and teaching teams to ensure consistency in each of these areas throughout each grade level. In this role, she will direct the counseling and guidance, enrollment and recruiting, student activities and campus ministry teams.  Billings has served as Holy Cross Middle School Principal for the past 20 years and added the roles of Director of Studies and Primary School Principal more recently. She is a member of the Holy Cross Moreau Province Mission Assessment Team and the Holy Cross Institute Board of Governors and served on the Holy Cross Institute Program Development Committee for seven years. Her work with the Congregation will enable her to connect the Holy Cross mission with students, faculty, staff and families. Mr. Brian Williams, CPA, joined Holy Cross School in January 2018 in the role of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operations Officer. He will oversee all financial operations, as well as the school’s campus operations and technology teams. Mr. Williams has 25 years of experience in the accounting and financial services industry and has worked in education, non-profit and corporate sectors in the Atlanta area.

Ms. Monica Sanusi Gelé, CFRE, will serve as our Chief Advancement Officer, overseeing the school’s fundraising, special events, alumni relations and communications teams.
