Congratulations to the members of the Holy Cross Men’s Choruses, who recently performed at the WorldStrides Festival of Gold in New York City. These choir members sang as part of a mass choir, made up of choirs from 10 qualifying schools from across the country, culminating with a performanace at Carnegie Hall. The choir was directed by Dr. Andre Thomas, a noted American composer and conductor. Dr. Thomas is a professor of music at Florida State University.
In addition to participating in intense rehearsals and performing, students attended The Lion King, and participated in a talk back session with members of the cast following the show. They also had time to go sightseeing and visit a few famous sites around the city.
