Senior Kameron Callahan Receives Distinction as a Moreau Scholar and Awarded Full Tuition to St. Edward’s University

Holy Cross senior Kameron Callahan has received distinction as a Moreau Scholar, honoring students whose academic and personal achievements reflect the mission of the Brothers of Holy Cross: outstanding academic achievement, leadership, and service. As a Moreau Scholar, Kameron has been awarded full tuition to St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas.

Kameron is an active member of the Holy Cross Ambassadors, Campus Ministry Team, Scholar's Program, National Honor Society, and International Thespian Honor Society.  He is also the Student Council Executive Board President and a four-time Tiger Award recipient.

Outside of Holy Cross, Kameron is an active member of his CYO where he serves as Peer Ministry Team Coordinator and Youth Board Spiritual Chair. Kameron was recently awarded the Outstanding Parish Youth Award from Saint Dominic Parish and was a state finalist and recipient of the Knights of Columbus Catholic Youth Leadership Award for the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

With his commitment to academics and extracurriculars, it should be no surprise that Kameron has received $1.3 million dollars in scholarships from various universities, including three other Holy Cross schools, Stonehill College in Easton, MA, King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and Holy Cross College in Notre Dame, IN.

Kameron, who has a passion for performing arts, will major in acting, musical theater, and writing and rhetoric with a concentration in creative writing. He has starred in several plays and musicals as a member of the Holy Cross Center Stage Players. He also performed with Mount Carmel Academy's STK theatre program. His prior theatrical achievements include accolades at state and international thespian festivals.

Congratulations, Kameron Callahan ’24! Holy Cross is proud of your accomplishments and looks forward to your continued success.
