Holy Cross Science & Engineering Fair

Holy Cross hosted its 13th annual Science & Engineering Fair on Saturday, January 13th.  Professors, engineers, teachers, and medical professionals volunteered their time to evaluate each project and award winners in categories, ranging from Microbiology to Physics. 8 HC alums (Ed Lewis ’62; Ashton Avegno ’68; BJ Kruse ’70; Glen Dubroc, ’82; Alan Guenther ’82; Ryan Roberts ’90; Greg Pier ’01; and Ross Gonzales, ’03) and 2 retired HC teachers (Sue Ellen Lyons and Warren Bernard) were also amongst the volunteers. 35 projects were chosen to compete at the Greater New Orleans Science & Engineering Fair at Tulane University next week.

Mrs. Tara Lavender, Dr. Katherine Schilling, and the entire HC Science department would like to thank all the students who participated in this event and all the parents who supported their sons’ efforts in producing excellent projects!
