Holy Cross Board Member Oversees National World War II Museum Completion

Congratulations to the National World War II Museum on the magnificent achievement of opening its newest pavilion. The Liberation Pavilion is The National WWII Museum’s final permanent exhibit hall exploring the end of World War II, the Holocaust, the immediate postwar years, and the war’s continuing impact today.  Under the leadership of Museum President and CEO Stephen J. Watson, the National World War II Museum continues establishing the highest, world-renowned standards of educational and inspirational excellence in the historical museum experience.

President Watson is a valued member of the Holy Cross School Board of Directors.  He and Mrs. Watson are the proud parents of a Holy Cross high school student. The Holy Cross Department of History and Holy Cross administrators collaborate extensively with the Museum on academic endeavors and battlefield tours.  The World War II course taught at Holy Cross School by Michael Arvites '04 is considered one of the best available to high school students anywhere in the United States. The final exhibit hall will provide even more material for our students in this class to explore.
