Middle School Religion Teacher (5th and 6th)

Years at HC?

Do you have an affiliation with Holy Cross?

When the school was operating in trailers on Paris Avenue, I started at Holy Cross as a Teacher Assistant. Also my father, who was President of Cabrini High School, opened Cabrini's doors to allow Holy Cross to take night classes after Hurricane Katrina.

What led you to teaching/working in a school?

I love watching young minds grow and I love giving back my knowledge to someone else.

How do you normally spend your summer breaks?

Travel. I also work harder and improve on lesson plans so that they'll be ready when August begins.

What are your interests?

Magic Card Tricks, Trivia, Board Games, Mysteries, Comedies, and visiting Historical Landmarks, sites, and museums.

Are you actively involved in anything outside of school?

Not really; but I always offer a helping hand to anyone who needs it.

If you were trapped on a desert island, what coworker would you want there to keep you company?

Eric Ferry; We'd fix an old radio and listen to 80s music or try to build a Time Traveling Delorean.

What is your favorite food?

Italian; I also enjoy a good steak (Medium)

What is the most satisfying thing about working with students?

After they graduate, it is nice talking to them about their college life and catching up on some fond memories. You can also see how much more they want to learn.

What is your professional motto?

Be Respectful The Person next to you is your new best friend.
