Dear Coach Stu,
You have been one of the most influential teachers for me at Holy Cross. The lessons you teach us are not just about economics or business, they are life lessons that we will remember for the rest of our lives. Knowing that I have a teacher I can count on and talk to about life is something very special. And the classes you teach are very important to the future of every student at Holy Cross. You teach us how to be financially literate and make good choices when it comes to handling money. You have truly prepared me for the years ahead when I will be doing my taxes and hopefully running my own business. I can safely say I will use every lesson you’ve taught me in pursuing my career.
I hope you continue to educate the students of Holy Cross on such an important aspect of adulthood. I respect that you pride yourself on teaching students how to handle money and how to handle it well. I truly believe that is a skill we should all obtain and pass down to the next generation. Seeing how knowledgeable you are about the economy and the stock market brings inspiration to me and to other students. It is amazing to me the knowledge you have and how easy you can teach it to others. I really do believe your class should be a mandatory class and not just an elective. Every student should learn economics and business and every student would be lucky to experience your amazing class.
Thank you, Coach, for always being there for us and providing us with skills that are necessary. You support us to the fullest. Thank you for shaping us into better men and molding us into the entrepreneurs of the future!
Thank you,
Ian Williams, ‘22
