Class of 2020 Inducted into Alumni Association, Receive Caps and Gowns

Today our Class of 2020 was inducted into the Holy Cross Alumni Association via a drive-through ceremony on Paris Avenue to honor the originally scheduled date of their commencement – May 23, 2020 -- which has been rescheduled for July.

The day began at 9 a.m. with Alumni Association President Paul Deckert ’82 ringing the Victory Bell 20 times to commemorate the Class of 2020. In front of the school gates Headmaster Sean Martin ’92, Chief Mission Officer Teresa Billings, and Chief School Officer Eric DesOrmeaux ’95 presented each senior with his Holy Cross Alumni Association Card, Alumni Association Pin, Brother Andre Medal, and Cap and Gown.

Senior parents hung graduation signs along the fence to honor their graduates, and family, teachers and friends lined up along Paris Avenue to show their support for our seniors.

The school has postponed its Class of 2020 Baccalaureate Mass, Senior Awards and Commencement Ceremony to July, which will mark the 171st commencement of Holy Cross School, which was founded in 1849.
