Last week several members of the Class of 2020 participated in the annual Holy Cross Immersion Experience. We were hosted by Holy Cross of San Antonio, and students from Moreau Catholic, St. Francis, and Notre Dame-Sherman Oaks participated as well.
As a Holy Cross Family, we served at St. PJ’s Children’s Home, Seton Home, Habitat for Humanity, InnerCity Development, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Each day was filled with meaningful service followed by spiritual reflection. Students and adults alike learned about the plight of the immigrant population in San Antonio.
The students had many eye-opening experiences over the course of the week. Each participant is expected to bring these lessons back to their respective campus and student bodies. We are grateful to our host for a great week of Faith, Fellowship, and Family.
