Class of 1970 Partners with Students for Community Service Project

As the Class of 1970 approaches the 50th anniversary of their graduation year, members of the class have set a goal to make servant leadership a priority this year. So, they are partnering with the senior class of 2020 to give back to the community together.

Recently, seven members of the Class of 1970 and five members of the Class of 2020 got together to feed 150 men at the Ozanam Inn, a non-profit, direct service agency serving the homeless and needy of greater New Orleans.

Thank you to seniors Tyler Grubbs, Celven Hulbert, Matt Gerrets, Merrick Murchinson and Josh Guillory and to Class of 1970 members Bill Chauvin, Frank Mule, Don Schwab, Maury Mollo, Bernard (BJ) Kruse, Joe Spitale and Don Jennings for giving of their time to help our neighbors in need. We also thank Class of 1970 members Roy Mouledous, Ronald Bernard, Don Clements, Bill Bozeman, Eddie Rantz and Dave Colomb for their financial contributions to this effort. We appreciate your spirit of servant leadership and for being positive role models for our students.
