Congratulations to Holy Cross senior Blake Ziegler, who has been selected as a winner of a National Merit $2,500 Scholarship.
Ziegler was named one of approximately 15,000 National Merit Finalists in February, and is now one of about 7,500 finalists who have been named scholarship winners.The winners were chosen based on their academic records, scores on two standardized tests, leadership in school and community activities, written essays and recommendations from high school officials, according to the National Merit Scholarship Corp.
Ziegler will be attending the University of Notre Dame with a double major in political science and philosophy.
