Obligation to Pay in the Event of Withdrawal or Dismissal

A student is admitted to Holy Cross with the understanding that he will remain for the entire academic year. A student who withdraws or is dismissed after the first day of school forfeits all fees and is charged tuition through the end of the semester in which he departs.  A student who withdraws before the first day of school will have any tuition, but not fees, reimbursed.

Blackbaud Tuition Management Payment Options

Tuition and fees are paid through Blackbaud Tuition Management (BTM is not a bank loan program). Because Blackbaud Tuition Management is our payment system for additional activities such as busing and after care, every family is required to set up automatic payments with either a credit card, debit card, or checking/savings account (ACH), regardless of the payment option selected.

Holy Cross School offers three payment options:

Option #1 - Annual Payment Plan
Payment of Tuition and Fees will autodraft in full on May 31.
* $250 early payment discount
* No $350 processing fee

Option #2 - Semi-Annual Payment
Plan (New Option for 2021-2022)

1st semester payment will autodraft on June 15. 2nd semester payment will autodraft on December 15.

* No $350 processing fee

* Payment amount is determined by adding your tuition plus your general fees and dividing by 2

Option #3 - Installment Plan

11 installments paid from June through April (this option incurs a payment processing fee of $350 per family).

*Your monthly payment is determined by adding your tuition, plus your general fees and processing fee, and dividing by 11.

Important Notes:

  • In an effort to ease the burden of the first month’s tuition payment under the Installment Payment Plan, the $350 processing fee charged will be spread over 11 months.
  • Families with two or more registered students will receive a $150 per student discount (Multi-Student Tuition Discount) on tuition.
  • To make changes to your payment plan, we ask that you please email Mrs. Signorelli [email protected] by April 30, 2022 to give us sufficient time to process your request.

Note that if you are considering using the Holy Cross bus service next year, we encourage you to secure a seat for your son now. To help plan for routes and potential social distancing requirements, we are asking that you register your son for the 2021-2022 bus service before April 30, 2022. Current bus route information is posted on our website under the Parents section with a quick link to Bus Transportation https://www.holycrosstigers.com/apps/pages/bustransportation Questions about bus transportation can be directed to Nick Michael [email protected]

If you have any questions regarding tuition payments, please contact Mrs. Signorelli ([email protected]).

Academic Scholarships

Holy Cross School offers academic scholarships for qualifying students.

National Merit Award

Any junior or senior at Holy Cross School who achieves ranking as a National Merit Semifinalist will be awarded a full tuition scholarship for his senior year at Holy Cross. Additionally, any junior or senior who achieves a ranking as a National Merit Commended Student, will receive a $1,000 scholarship.

Need-Based Financial Assistance

To be considered for our need-based financial assistance, families will apply and provide supporting documents directly to SMART Aid, an online application form related to SMART Tuition.

Holy Cross has numerous fully and partially endowed scholarships from which it can provide financial assistance to students in 5th - 12th grade who qualify. From the funds available each year, Holy Cross can award various levels of financial assistance based on need, academic achievement, extracurricular participation, community service and other various factors.

The application process for the 2022-2023 school year will begin on November 1, 2021 and all SMART Aid applications must be completed and submitted into the system by January 16, 2022.  Holy Cross will review all financial aid requests and have all letters of financial aid to students and families by the end of February.

In addition to scholarship assistance, Holy Cross offers Work Study Awards.  Recipients of Work Study Awards earn an hourly wage, which is deducted from tuition as work is completed.  Because some work is strenuous and not suitable for all students, this opportunity is exclusively for older students. Work Study is awarded through the Financial Assistance application process.

Please visit SMART Aid for Parents or contact our finance office for more information.
