The student has an understanding of technology trends and their impact on his life and world. He uses the keyboard in a proficient manner.

In-lab activities support the objectives of the courses.  There is Microsoft Word report writing, letter writing, flyer creation, and table creation.  Following the Word unit, activities with Microsoft Excel include data entry, formula writing, and chart creation.  Other activities includes PowerPoint presentations, World Wide Web keyword browsing with Microsoft Internet Explorer or other browser, computer graphics creation and photo manipulation with Paint Shop Pro, analyzing technology trends, slide show videos with Photo Story, keyboarding drills and contributions to the Holy Cross School newspaper.
