Science Department

The Holy Cross Science department integrates the appreciation of the scientific method and the value of science.

We offer intermediate mandatory classes including biology, chemistry, and physics. These courses are also offered in Honors curriculum at the same time offering AP Environmental Science.  Electives for this course include Anatomy and Human Physiology, and Geology.

"The Holy Cross Science Department is dedicated to developing not only knowledge, but analytic problem solving. With several dedicated electronic science classrooms, Holy Cross provides it students with a balance between theory and the real world applications of the material in the science curriculum. With a knowledgeable and dedicated science faculty, the Holy Cross Science Department strives to exemplify the Holy Cross mission of developing the whole man. Students will graduate with an appreciation of the theories and methods of science and the ability to apply what they've learned to challenging and complex issues. "

Each course in this department has been integrated into an electronic classroom where it is open to its own computer lab.  This new development in the Science department allows the student to interact in class activities via the Holy Cross network.

Every science class also has its own lab so that the student can participate in physical projects to get a better understanding of the class.
