Fund Raiser Appreciation Party

The fundraiser appreciation party is held in January of each year in appreciation for the work the band does in raising funds for the program. At the party there is a drawing of names for various prizes including the top three prizes usually a Television, DVD player, and Mall Gift Certificates. A DJ is hired and food and refreshments are provided.

Annual Tiger Band Crawfish Boil

Each March or April the Tiger Band holds a crawfish boil on campus.  The Tiger Band and seventh grade Bengal Band students are parents are invited.  It is an event at which the younger students get to meet the returning members of Tiger Band.  The swimming pool is open and a good time is had by all who attend.

Officer's Christmas Dinner

In December of each year the Tiger Band Officer Corp is treated to a Christmas dinner at the Director of Bands house.  The members of the Band Booster Board and directors prepare the meal.  This is in thanksgiving for the hard work the officers do all year.

Laser Tag Night

The Tiger Band enjoys making music together, but they also enjoy a good time without their instruments.  Once or twice a year the Tiger Band reserves Laser Tag for a mid-night gathering. For the past few years the band has enjoyed a night out with "the boys"

Tiger Band Summer Picnic

In June of each year the Tiger Band holds a picnic to introduce and meet new incoming students and parents.  It's a simple picnic with hamburgers and hot dogs, potato salad and chips, soft drinks and punch. This is a great introduction to the band family for the new students.

Tiger Band Trip

Each year the Tiger Band embarks on a trip that takes them to various places across the country.  The band always performs on the trip, usually in some type of educational musical experience for the students and as a thank you for the many hours of hard work put into making the Tiger Band program the success that it is.  In addition to the festival performance the Tiger Band has a great time on its annual trip,  Some of the cities visited over the past trips have been: Atlanta-Georgia; Chattanooga-Tennessee; Colorado Springs- Colorado; Houston-Texas; Orlando-Florida and Williamsburg - Virginia.

Band Awards Banquet

In May each year the Tiger Band holds its annual Tiger Band Awards Banquet. The banquet is held at a reception hall and is a rather formal affair, coat and tie required. After dinner there is usually a guest speaker and then the presentation of the many awards the band members have earned throughout the year. This is a very nice and enjoyable event to end each school year.
