Live Auction Procedures

1. The Live Auction will begin promptly at 9:00 PM and will continue without interruption until all items have been auctioned. 

2. To submit a bid, the Bidder will direct a signal to the Auctioneer.  When a bid is recognized, a Spotter will acknowledge the Bidder.

3. The highest Bidder acknowledged by the Auctioneer shall be the Buyer.  In the event of any dispute between Bidders, the decision of the Auctioneer will be final.

4. The Checkout Table will be open for the successful highest Bidders at the conclusion of the Live Auction.  Live Auction invoices may be added to Silent Auction invoices, as long as payment is made in full by the end of the Gala.  Payment may be made with cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

5. All sales are final, and there will be no exchanges or refunds on items except where specified.

 

Easels are for display purposes only and are not considered

 part of the items on the Live Auction.

L-3 Rollin′ Down The Track

Thanks to the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad, you can bid on this fabulous party. Twenty people will enjoy a one-of-a-kind four-hour excursion on the "City of New Orleans", a fully restored 1927 Pullman Private Rail Car. This beautiful parlor observation car will take you for a ride over the mighty Mississippi via the Huey P. Long Bridge where the car will pause for an enchanting view of the city before heading through the French Quarter for a stop at the Esplanade Landing. Trip to be scheduled on a Friday or Saturday evening and departure times must be set between 3 PM and 5 PM. All guests must sign a legal release prior to the day of the scheduled trip. Cocktails, appetizers, and gratuity are not included.

Presently residing in Jackson, Mississippi with his wife Martha Ann, Luis was born in Costa Rica and graduated from Holy Cross School in 1964 and holds two degrees in architecture from Louisiana Tech University. His work has been widely exhibited in galleries from Palm Beach to New Orleans to Santa Fe, and as far away as Mazatlan and Maui. His paintings hang in important private collections across the United States and in corporate collections in banks, hospitals, and medical office buildings throughout the South. His use of glowing color, 24k gold, platinum, and precious stones enables Diaz to create the images for which he has become noted over the past thirty years. (Value: $6,000)
