8th Grade Baseball Wins Championship | The 8th-grade baseball team won the New Orleans Catholic League
Metro championship by first earning a spot in the championship by
defeating Crescent City 8-1 on Monday, and then defeating Newman,
8-6 yesterday in the championship game. |
The sixth grade baseball Tigers finished 3rd in their division
(4-1-1 division record, and 10-4-1 overall Record) and play the
first round of the playoffs at Pontiff Playground tomorrow at 3:15
against Country Day. |
7th Grade Baseball Slideshow
 8th Grade Baseball Get Two "W's" | The 8th Grade Baseball Team got two victories in the St. Paul's Tournament. The Tigers defeated Northlake Christian 5-2 and St. Paul's 7-6. Fine pitching performances were delivered by Cooper Gioe, Jordan Fontenelle, and Kyle Gardner. The offensive charge was led by Sammy Capielano with four hits, and Lance Licciardi knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the last inning against St. Paul's. The team is currently 7-3 on the season. |

7th & 8th Metro Basketball Captures Title
The Holy Cross 7th and 8th grade metro basketball team defeated Crescent City, 36-30, thus
capturing the Metro Championship for the first time in 10 years.

Starfox Wins TCAC Title in Soccer |
Noah Bernadas stepped up and filled a last minute spot just to play the game. The game itself, however, was not as much of a nail biter. Every time the Blue Falcons made it close, Starfox opened up their lead with another goal. With every goal, every stop, and every throw in, Starfox summoned every ounce of their strength. Only after having played so hard do they now have the privilege to call themselves...champions.
Starfox took the TCAC championship with a 7-4 victory yesterday. Congratulations go out to Jonathan Garrity, Conlin Corrone, Jacob Mahoney, CJ Bowie, and Cameron Snider for a great season, and congratulations to all who contributed to another successful round of TCAC games. |
