Alumni Association The alumni association supports the school in a number of ways.
They need help with various activities during the year such as Fishing Rodeo, Golf
Tournament, and Phone-A-Thon.
Athletic Association The Holy Cross Athletic Association (HCAA) is an integral part of
the school. The Athletic Association supports the various athletic teams by sponsoring
fund raisers during the school year. They meet throughout the school year to discuss the
activities they are sponsoring.
Band Booster Organization The Holy Cross Band Booster is the backbone of the high
school and middle school band programs. The Boosters plan and organize events,
including band meals, arrangements for concerts, and fund raising.
CCSCC This group is the Council of Catholic School Co-Operative Clubs. A volunteer
is needed to attend meetings, which is during the school day and report information back
to Holy Cross.
Faculty Appreciation Luncheon The Faculty Appreciation luncheon is the parents’
way of showing our appreciation to the faculty and staff. The luncheon takes place the
Wednesday before the Easter break. They are treated to lunch and appreciation gifts.
Volunteers are needed to help set up, clean up and serve lunch.
Family DayFamily Day is a fun filled afternoon of games, activities, performances and
food where current students, families, alumni, and friends gather on campus. The
committee meets several times throughout the year to plan this event. Volunteers are
needed to sell food, sell parade of prizes tickets, organize games, preparing and selling of
baked goods, and selling raffle tickets.
Gold and Blue GalaThis is Holy Cross’ premier fund-raising event. Held each spring it
includes a silent auction, a $10,000 super raffle, several other raffle items, and a live
auction. This event includes dancing, great food from many restaurants across the city
and an open bar. Volunteers are needed to help make this event successful.
Grandparent’s Day- There is a mass held to honor the students’ grandparents and
refreshments are served afterwards. Volunteers are needed to help set up, clean up and
serve refreshments.
Holiday LuncheonThe Holiday Luncheon is the second Sunday of December and is
open to all parents, grandparents, alumni and friends. The luncheon consists of a silent
auction, parade of prizes, 50/50, door prize raffles, and the lunch. Volunteers are needed
to help with the luncheon planning. They are also needed the day of the luncheon to help
set up the auction items, sell tickets, and work the auction tables. The parade of prize
committee meets several times before the luncheon to make the many baskets that are
used for the auction tables and door prizes.
HospitalityThe hospitality committee helps greet guests and serve refreshments at a
wide range of Holy Cross events. Volunteers are needed to help set up tables, shop for
refreshments and clean up after event.
LibraryVolunteers needed to help librarian with any projects as needed.
Office WorkVolunteers needed to help the office staff as needed with projects.
Open House- Open House is the one night where grammar school and middle school
students and their parents take a tour of the campus. It is their opportunity to learn about
our school. Volunteers are needed to greet attendees, serve refreshments and answer
questions that are asked by the attendees. The Admission Department is in charge of this
night.
