Within these web site pages, you will witness a snapshot of the exciting times of Holy Cross life on campus, our students’ accomplishments, both individually and collectively, their programs of study, as well as the new technology innovations they are experiencing. As you peruse these images, be mindful that the values that drive our actions emanated from the writings, teachings and legacy of Blessed Basil Moreau, founder of the Congregation of Holy Cross --our mission. This Mission of the Holy Cross education involves the development of the whole man: mind and heart, body and soul. The overall program challenges a young man to learn habits of the mind and habits of the heart: to have the competence to see and the courage to act, to think critically, to make informed choices, to take risks, and to own the consequences of his actions.
Thus, you will see this mission played out in the daily “lived lives” of our students through their academic, athletic, spiritual and extra-curricular experiences. You will not only see them strive for excellence, but will also witness their deeds of service to others and their rendering of hope to the less fortunate and individuals in need. Through the unique bonds that come from these experiences, it is not surprising to hear our students often say that we are a "family”; a “brotherhood”. You will see evidence of these special bonds. This is what makes Holy Cross—Holy Cross. This is who we are. This is our identity.
Although these pictures only capture part of the story, place yourself inside of these images and witness the growth of the individual, the positive changes of behavior, and the accomplishments of our students and the results of our programs.
As we continue to grow to realize our full capacity, we cherish and nurture the values set forth for our Holy Cross Institution. We continue to discover ways to maximize the full potential of the Holy Cross Mission and we are reshaping and refining our goals for the future. Go Tigers!!
