Students attending our science camp last week had a unique opportunity to learn about rockets from NASA engineer Ryan Roberts, a Holy Cross graduate from the class of 1990. Roberts gave the students a demonstration of a rocket engine and the boys got to hear just how loud they can be! Each camper made his own rocket from a soda bottle and got to launch them out in the courtyard. This experience taught the boys that science truly can be fun!
