Volunteer

We need support of parents and alumni to help make our school successful. Listed below is a description of the various activities that could use volunteers. Holy Cross will contact those who volunteer as needed.

Volunteers are needed to assist the Institutional Department by raising awareness of the Annual Fund. Volunteers are needed to help make calls to fellow parents, as well as to help with mailings in the I.A. department. Band Booster Organization

The Holy Cross Band Booster is the backbone of the high school and middle school band programs.  There are many committees that you can be involved with to suit your strengths.  The Hospitality Committee plans meals for the Tiger Band football games and competitions as well as arranging water and snacks football games and parades.  The Band Camp Committee is charged with stripping the band field at school and in the Alario Center and organizing hydration and first aid at band camps.  The Uniform Committee does fittings and alterations on uniforms, organizes uniform cleanings, and helps out in the distribution of uniforms before events.  The Pit Crew and Props Committee help to build and transport pit equipment and field show props during football games and competitions.  The POPs Committee plans the annual POPs Concert and Silent Auction and is the band’s largest undertaking each year.  Finally, the band is always looking for certified drivers for busses and the band truck.
