Science Fair Winners Qualify for Regionals

Holy Cross hosted its seventh annual Science & Engineering Fair on Saturday, January 13. Professors from local universities and engineers from local firms awarded winners in various categories, ranging from Microbiology to Environmental Engineering. Twenty-nine projects were chosen to compete at the Greater New Orleans Science & Engineering Fair at Tulane University in February. The Holy Cross Science Department would like to thank all the students who participated in this event and all the parents who supported their sons’ efforts in producing excellent projects.

Junior Division Awards:

  • 1st place awards in the junior division went to: Edward Muhleisen, Vincent Bourgeois, Landyn Campiso, David Dazet, the team of Jacob & Evan Frost, the team of Andrew Bradley & Ethan Ward, and the team of Eli Lafrance & Armin Seraji.
  • 2nd place awards in the junior division went to: Chase Lemoine, Cullen Alvarez, Charles Jonau, Joey Jones, Alex Sommer, and the team of Joshua Atkins & Nick Davillier.
  • 3rd place awards in the junior division went to: Jake Labadot and the team of Cole Baiamonte & Beau Verdin.
  • These junior division students qualified for regional competition at the GNOSEF: Edward Muhleisen, Vincent Bourgeois, Landyn Campiso, David Dazet, Alex Sommer, the team of Jacob & Evan Frost, the team of Andrew Bradley & Ethan Ward, and the team of Eli Lafrance & Armin Seraji.

 Senior Division Awards:

  • 1st place awards in the senior division went to: Ethan Acosta, Zachary Fuller, Colby Brown, Colin Clement, Tobias Fabregas, Jacob Lincoln, Mason Meeks, Ethan Prunty, Robert Spampneto, Blake Ziegler, Ronan Moran, Ryan Doody, the team of Matthew Thiaville & Bryan Tran, and the team of Joshua Orr & Mitchell Riera
  • 2nd place awards in the senior division went to: Ryan DePriest, Aaron Seube, Hayden Brodnax, Justin Dunlap, Jackson Katz, Matthew Manzella, Gary McCulla, Collin Staub, Mason Wallace, Benjamin Young, Carlos Castellanos, Peyton Madere, the team of Evan Autin & Robert Shexnayder and the team of Jay Beatman, Cade Martin, & Colin Doody.
  • 3rd place awards in the senior division went to: William Kline, Justin Borne, Evan Cuccia, William Neely, Shane Gross, Kyler VanCamp, the team of Maximilien Caffery & Jonah Munch, the team of George Guilford & Travis Gomez, and the team of Andrew Farnet, Trent Terminie, & Trevor Terminie.
