      <description>Attention Juniors.. There is a change in today's Boys To Men Activities. Due to the weather and the expected rain, you will be dismissed at 10:40am and will report under the Oaks to meet up with your 7th grade brother for lunch. However, after lunch you will return to class for 4th period which is at 12:35pm. Again you will report back to class for the last period of the day. Also, you are to remain in your school uniform. DO NOT CHANGE OUT OF YOUR UNIFORM FOR THE LUNCHEON. We apologize for the inconvenience  but the weather dictates the change. We would ask that for today's pep rally,  you find and meet up with your little brother and sit with each other  to enjoy the pep rally together as an extra Boys To Men Activity. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Coach Jackson's G and A period class please report to the student center for class.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Attention Coach Jackson's religion students. The Tigers dominated the game, riding a stellar pitching performance.  Andrew Scherer, Garrett Schaff, Christian Volion, Zack Cavalier, and Austin Jobe combined to strike out 13 batters and only allow 1 hit through 7 innings.  The Tigers were led at the plate by Chip Bonura and Connor Caminita.  Bonura collected 2 hits while Caminita had a hit and 3 RBI's on the day. Greg Raynal and Logan Taravella each had a hit and an RBI. The JV Tigers will continue their pre-season next Friday, taking on John Curtis, here at Holy Cross.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The following students need to report to Guidance to meet with Ms. Karen immediately following the announcements: Porter Dazet, Ronald Harris, and Vernell Mangum. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Today's schedule is EFGA and today we are on an afternoon assembly schedule with a pep rally in the afternoon.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tomorrow is the day. That's right tomorrow is Pajama Jam. There are no parades so this is the perfect way to spend your Saturday night. The dance is from 8-11pm in the Student Center with a lock in from 9:00pm -10:30pm for the 8th grade and high school grade levels, as well as all the area Catholic High Girls Schools.  Please note: any girl who comes to the dance must be from an area catholic girl school unless she is your date for the dance.. and guys.. You can only have one date. However, if you chose to bring numerous friends they must be from one of the area catholic girl schools. Anyone else will be turned away. Cost of the dance will be only $5 per person. We will be crowning the Pajama Jam King and Queen for those with the most creative pajama's on. However, make sure you visit our website for further information and the dress code policy. Also remember, the Huddle will be open for you to purchase food, drinks, and snacks as well as Pat Garin will be available to purchase formal pictures. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Attention middle school students in 5th - 7th grade. &lt;br /&gt;Your Sock Hop is next week on Feb. 11th from 8-10pm in the Student Center. Visit our  website for further information and the dress code policy. You are allowed to bring a friend or guest to the dance so bring one, two, or however many your mom and dad want to pack in the car. Holy Cross 5th  - 7th graders are encouraged to invite the girls they know that are in 5th - 7th grade as well to come and enjoy the fun. The semi-formal dance will be a combination 9th and 10th grade dance based on feedback from the different grade levels.  The dance will be held April 13th in the Atrium of the Student Center. The dance will be a coat and tie dance. Preorder tickets will go on sale Monday. Again, Mr. Ferry is taking payments starting this Monday in the Student Activities Office. You will have one week to purchase tickets. If enough students purchase tickets, we will have the dance. All money will be refunded if the dance is canceled. If he does not hear from you by tomorrow, then your name will be left off the list and you will not be able to participate.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Tomorrow morning in honor of St. Blaise will have the blessing of throats beginning at 7:25am in the huddle. We will be crowning the Pajama Jam King and Queen for those with the most creative pajama's on. However, make sure you visit our website for further information and the dress code policy. Also remember, the Huddle will be open for you to purchase food, drinks, and snacks as well as Pat Garin will be available to purchase formal pictures. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Don't worry Middle School guys... your Sock Hop is next week on Feb. 11th from 8-10pm in the Student Center for all you 5th - 7th grade students here at Holy Cross. You are allowed to bring a friend or guest to the dance so bring one, two, or however many your mom and dad want to pack in the car. Holy Cross 5th  - 7th graders are encouraged to invite the girls they know that are in 5th - 7th grade as well to come and enjoy the fun. Cost of the dance will be $5 per person. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Attention 9th graders and 10th graders:&lt;br /&gt;The semi-formal dance will be a combination 9th and 10th grade dance based on feedback from the different grade levels.  The dance will be held April 13th in the Atrium of the Student Center. The dance will be a coat and tie dance. Preorder tickets will go on sale Monday. Again, Mr. Ferry is taking payments starting this Monday in the Student Activities Office. You will have one week to purchase tickets. If enough students purchase tickets, we will have the dance. All money will be refunded if the dance is canceled. We will need to have over 70% percent attendance to hold the dance.       <title>Help Needed for St. Joseph’s Altar </title>

      <description>The men and women of the Holy Cross St. Joseph Altar Society will soon begin preparations for this year’s St. Joseph Altar. Cookie preparation is a lot of fun and a wonderful opportunity to be active at Holy Cross. The group meets once a week to bake.  &lt;br /&gt;Food items and monetary donations are needed for purchasing the products for the altar preparation. Items needed include: all-purpose flour, sugar, Crisco, butter, almond flavoring, vanilla extract, anise extract, baking powder, decorative candy sprinkles, sesame seeds, pecans, confectioners' sugar, eggs and milk.  We also will need fresh flowers, 1,500 fresh Fava Beans, 1,500 small white paper bags, food coloring, baking soda, nonpareils mix, strawberry extract, lemon extract, large zip lock bags, and parchment paper.  These items can be brought to Holy Cross School during school hours, and can be dropped off at the Middle School Office, located on the first floor of the Middle School Building.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Altar will be open to the public for viewing, Monday,&lt;br /&gt;March 19, 2012 from 9:00am – 1:00pm in the Holy Cross Library, 3rd floor of the Administration Building.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;If you are interested in joining the Holy Cross St. Joseph Altar Society or would like more information, contact Paula McGehee at paulamcgehee@me.com &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</description>
