Attention baseball players! Tryouts for the Senior Legion, Junior Legion, and Metro Baseball teams will be held on Thursday following exams at 10am in Holy Cross Park.

Students and Faculty, Over the next few days Mr. DuMouchel's art II students will be placing their final art projects in various locations around campus. Some of the subjects include the boston marathon bombing, texting while driving, and obesity in America. All projects will be labeled. Please take a close look at the projects as they are intended to make you think. Enjoy but please Do Not Touch any of the projects. Thank you.

Students all lockers should be cleaned out by the end of the day TODAY! Anything left after exams will be thrown away!



Any current 7th-11th graders interested in joining the HC powerlifting team, sign ups will be held in the weightroom this Thursday May 14. You can sign up in the morning before school, or immediately after school.
If you have any questions, contact coach Gig.

Congratulations to the Holy Cross Beach Volleyball team for the 1st place finish in last week's championship against Brother Martin & Jesuit. The team finished the year 7-3, winning 4 different championships! For students interested in joining the volleyball team, please see Dr. Schilling about a summer opportunity to play in a league for a discounted rate.

ATTENTION: all Freshmen in Toepfer, Rivera, Kirkwood, and Carboni’s B Period classes are to report to H105 for B Period. You will be eating High School Lunch.

Menchie's, a frozen yogurt shop on Harrison Ave., is offering a portion of their profits from sales this Friday, May 8 between 2:45 and 6. Go to Menchie's this Friday, mention Holy Cross Chorus Department while making your purchase, and enjoy some delicious frozen yogurt!

Seniors please bring your money to Mrs. Dee in the library for your Senior Crawfish Boil.

Attention 6th and 7th Grade Students:
We will have a mini-camp next week for anyone interested in playing on the Junior High Football Team. Practices will begin after school on Monday, May 11. Players should report to the High School P.E. Locker Room immediately after school, where they can change into their P.E. uniforms for practice. Practices will end around 4:15 so players can catch the shuttle bus if necessary.

The Holy Cross Sports Medicine Department will be hosting its annual Physical Day. The event will take place on Thursday, May 14 in the Holy Cross Student Center. Physicals will be offered from 2:00 to 5:30, at a cost of $25.00. A physical exam is required of all students wishing to participate in any sport, for the upcoming school year. This physical will satisfy that requirement for the 2015-2016 school year. LHSAA physical forms are available on the Holy Cross school website, under the "athletics" tab.

The library will be closed at lunch and after school Thursday and Friday. The library will also be closed Friday before school. No students will be allowed in the library on Thursday and Friday beginning at lunch Thursday.

Seniors your Senior Crawfish Boil is in just a few weeks This is a reminder to please bring the money to Mrs. Dee in the library. All seniors participate in this fun day.

All juniors are reminded to bring permission slips and money for the crawfish boil to Mr. Westfall by Thursday at the latest.

All students:

Robotics Team Competes at Worlds

Last week the robotics team "robotigers" traveled to Louisville, KY and competed at the VEX World's Robotics Competition. The middle school team of Kyler VanCamp, Leo Bache, and Shane Welch competed against 105 teams in the VEXIQ category. In the VEX high school division, Lance Relle, Nino Catalanotto, Ford Luscy, Greg Parker, Wyatt Strange, Brandon Scully, Noah Bruzeau, and Adam Quebideaux took to the fields to compete with their two robots against the top 450 teams in the world. In all there were 800 robots competing over a four day span.

You are still required to wear your uniform pants. Please turn in your money to your homeroom teacher on Friday.

There are 2 Iphones in the high school office lost and found. There also is a pair of black eye glasses. Please stop by and claim if they are yours!
